I.                    
The additional force was requisitioned soon after the receipt of first information of the incident occurred in the area.
II.                  
On 01.11.-1984 force of one platoon of CRPF was received at C-64 Raj Nagar at 3 p.m. and they returned soon after the clearance of hauling at Raj Nagar.
III.                 
Another force of 2u/ss, 10 Hcs. & 34 cts of (PAC) was also 3-45 p.m. and 5-15 p.m. they were sent to police Post, Paschim Vihar.

31.           The following police officials were indicated for their role in the 1984 Carnage:

(i)                
Departmental enquiry was initiated against of Insp. Ram Chandar, SHO P.S. Punjabi Bagh at the time of Carnage for handling thesituation as SHO Punjabi Bagh during the enquiry theenquiry 9officer found all allegation false and baseless and the same was filed. The officer is present.

(ii)              
HC Hamid Khan No.45/W: n 1984 he was posted in delivering access articles to Shri Jagdish Singh head granthi, Gurudwara Tikana Sahbib. 

32.           No such previous case was re-investigated/re-opened by the riots cell but following cases were registered on the direction Jain Aggarwal committee:

On 02.11.84  9.00 A.M. Samrat Enclave, 1.00 P.M sreenagar, 2.50 P.M. Paschim Puri Main Market, 3.50P.M. Samrat cinema, 4.00 p.m. Shakur Basti.
On 03.11.84 at 11.00 P.M. ACP alongwith other senior officials visited the relief camp being run by P.S. Punjabi Bagh.
On 04.11.84 Patrolling in the whole sub-division.

34.           Army arrived in P.S. Punjabi Bagh on 30.11.84 and same day it was deployed in the area.

35.           The relief centre for victim was made in barracks of P.S. Punjabi Bagh and also within campus of police station.

36.           The total population under the jurisdiction P.S. Punjabi Bagh was approximately 3.5 lacs. Out of this, the population of Sikhs was approximately 7800 in Oct./Nov. 1984.
