Affidavit submitted before Misra Commission

       Affidavit of Rajinder Singh s/o Jagdish Kumar Singh aged 45 years, r/o RZ-D-6A, West Sagarpur, New Delhi-46.

I, the deponent above-named do hereby solemnly state on oath as follows: -

1.                  On Nov.1, 1984 we were at our house watching T.V. Inflammatory speeches were being shown wherein it was being said, “Khoon Ka Badla Khoon”,  “Sikhs should be eliminated altogether.”

2.                  On 1.11.84 in the evening, we were in our house. We were in a very depressed mood because of the assassination of Indira Gandhi. In the meantime a mob of about 500 – 600 men came. Manohar Lal Sharma and his brother Inder Raj Sharma were showing the houses of Sikhs to the mob.

3.                  Vijay Kumar shouted to kill the Sikhs.

4.                  Gupta restaurant owner of RZ-32, Pankha Road hit my door with blood strained iron rod.

5.                  Prem Sagar of Sagar Property Dealer, who is President, pointed towards my house.

6.        All my goods including cement have been looted.
