I, Amar Kaur W/o S. Ujagar Singh, age 50 yrs., R/o H.No. WZ-771, Nangal Raya, Delhi Cantt., New Delhi, do hereby solemnly affirm and declare as under: -  

1.                  That on 31-10-84, I was residing with my family in WZ-771. At night a mob of about 500 persons with lathis, sariyas, tokas, etc. came to our house and threaten us to came out. Lokvir Singh who is residing in Lajwanti Garden Bazar was instigating the mob to loot, burn and kill the Sikhs. The mob pelted stones and after sometime they went away without causing any serious damage to our house.

2.                  That on 2-11-84, at about 11 P.M., again the said Lokvir Singh the Congress (I) worker of the area brought a mob of 500 persons carrying lathis, sariyas. My neighbour’s sons Ashok and Raju were carrying revolvers. They were accompanied by one Prem and one more person named Raju, Ramesh of our mohalla. They all were instigating the mob to kill the Sikhs loot and burnt their houses.

3.                  At this the mob started looting the house and we saved ourselves by going to the house of the neighbours Shri Rameshwar.

4.                  One of our neighbours Shiv Lal compelled Rameshwar to throw us out of his house, as we were Sikhs and traitors.

5.                  That on 2-11-84, at about 5 am, we came to Gopinath Bazar.

6.                  That the police did not try to save us from the mob.
