Affidavit submitted before Misra Commission

              I, Smt. Cham Kaur W/o Sh. Anar Singh, aged 35 years, r/o A/4-147, Sultanpuri, New Delhi, do hereby solemnly affirm and declare as under: -

1.                  On 1-11-84, I went out at 9:00 AM, to search for my got in the park of B-2 that many people had gathered in a Kannat and were holding a meeting. Out of them, I identified Brahmanand Gupta, who holds an oil Depot and is President of A/4, Block, Congress (I), Ujjal resident of A/4, his wife and wife of Brahmanand Gupta, Dr. Chhaga and his younger wife, three brothers of Brahmanand, Jai Bhagwan, Hari Om, Abpat of Satbir Hotel and Narain vegetable seller, Master Bhangi of A/2, Ram Kishan Jat, Gangaram Doctor, his sister-in-law, Chauhan, r/o A/4-86, 87 his 2 brother Tailor Master r/o A/3 Kamal the kite-seller of A/3, Nand Ram Bagari welder of A-4, Ramu laborer, who lives in B/2. Jai Kishan, the Secretary of Sajjan Kumar was there and Sajjan Kumar was saying that Sikhs had killed Mrs. Gandhi, therefore, you kill them, loot their goods and burnt them alive. I became nervous on hearing so. So, I ran back home where I had my father and five children at that time, as my husband was away to Behrain. I told the above incident to my father and nephews. Hearing this all became nervous and went to their houses.
