Affidavit submitted before Misra Commission

                  Affidavit of Mohinder Kaur widow of S. Joginder Singh, resident of D-395, Mangolpuri, Delhi-83.

            I Mohinder Kaur, solemnly affirm as under: -

1.                  On 2-11-84 at about 10 PM, a large number of people came into our street. First of all, they damaged our scooter and then dragged out of husband Joginder Singh and two sons Baldev Singh and Lakhbir Singh. They started beating them. While my menfolk were struggling for their lives, I cried bitterly. I tried to give them water. The mob then threatened me that if I gave them water, they would kidnap my daughters.

2.                  The mob was being led by Kumar Pal resident of D-372. He put burning sticks in the mouth of my son. He was also accompanied by his two brothers Kali Ram and Balak Ram. Dharampal and Gultan Jan, who had pointed out our house signaling that Sikhs resides in the house, are the sons of Ram Chander, resident of D-386, Ram Phal, killed my sons. He stays in gali No.6 and is the son of Sher Singh. Raju Jhansi wale, brother of Pooran, resident of street No.9 looted our property. Rajvir was also alongwith them.

3.                  Rajvir and Ramphal still threaten us saying that they will not spare my two surviving sons.

4.                  Police never came to help us.
