I, Dalip Singh S/o S. Jhanda Singh, r/o W-5, Gobindpuri, New Delhi, do hereby solemnly affirm and declare as under:-

1.                  That on 1-11-84, at about 1 PM, we were standing in our house – when we saw that a very large crowd of thousand of persons, after setting Gurdwara of Giri Nagar on fire, was advancing towards us.

2.                  My neighbour Makhan Lal and his son were guiding the crowd towards my house. 

3.                  I and my son ran into the park near our house and hid ourselves and watched all this.  Ganim Ahmad Midri and persons owing allegiance to  Lakhmi Narain who is an MP now days, were with the crowd.  They all looted my house and the hotel run  by my son and afterwards set these on fire. 

4.                  The following persons were in the attackers and I recognize them namely Makhan Lal, Sadaram, Nand Lal – who is driver with DTC depot Kalkaji, Charan Kamal Chopra – who is a clerk in the DTC depot Kalkaji and Shiv Ram who is a conductor in the same depot.  I saw the whole incidence with my own eye and to save our lives, we ran away from there.  Pandit – who was a driver with the Kalkaji depot came running accompanied by Surat Singh and Bal Krishan and tried to stop us but we ran away from there.  The crowd asked them about us (myself and my son) and said that they were looking for us to kill us. 

5.                  We hid ourselves in 19, Nizammudin.  Sameem Ahmad and his friends--------.

We lodged an FIR.  All these people are troubling me even now.  I am apprehensive of my life.
